AGSuite Edge, available in our Smart Boxes, implements an extended router with IoT protocols and applications installation possibilities in adherence to the main international standards.
Several devices on the market host AGSuite Edge as operating system or as IoT solution «containerized».

Briefly

AGSuite Edge is a modular suite designed for the development of IoT solutions that can be installed as a Linux distribution directly on the HW or distributed through containers.

Availability:

  • Supplied in our Smart Boxes
  • Integrable into third-party devices, even with a modular approach:
    • Natively, as OS on ARM, INTEL and MIPS architectures
    • Hosted into container

Main features:

  • Based on Linux OS
  • Already CE certified on several devices
  • Complete with web UI for configuration and API to manage IoT protocols and solutions development
  • Extensible through applications and scripts
  • Fully configurable for both networking and data handling
  • Suitable for (router) 3-play design

AGSuite Edge, mainly developed in C++ making optimized use of resources, is also able to run on HW with reduced performance (eg: single core @600mhz with 512MB of RAM).

Modularity:
AGSuite Edge includes several features that can be integrated into the target device according to the required features and functionality.

Device management:

  • Bootloader ready for production and end-of-line QA test;
  • Support for unique programming of MAC Address, password, certificates, … per device;
  • BSP extended with numerous drivers for managing HW interfaces;
  • Configuration encryption, also using HW protection mechanisms;
  • Dual-image SW architecture for secure remote upgrade;
  • Available for secureboot architectures, complete with electronic signature application (SW factory);
  • APIs for local (applications and/or script) and remote management of each feature;
  • Zero-reboot and event-driven architecture that applies each configuration without reboot;

SW stack already qualified by several clients.
